Strolling around at the ‘Loppemarkeder’

It’s sunday, you’re a bit lazy, the weather is nice, but you don’t know what to do. So, a flea market can be a perfect option! There are several flea markets in Copenhagen. Or as they call it in Danish ‘Loppemarkeder’. You got some indoor markets, but I prefer the ‘outdoor’ flea markets (if the weather also agrees). I visited the Veras Market with some friends on a sunday morning. It’s under a bridge and functions also as a skatepark. There’s a dj who takes care of the necessary vibes, you can get some food or coffee (the good stuff) and enjoy the atmosphere, people and of course the ‘hunt’ for some cool stuff (mostly clothing and accessories).

A SELFIE is always important!
A little later we came across another flea market at Nørrebro park. Located at Jægersborggade, a street you should definitely visit when you’re in Copenhagen. There are a lot of cool lunchrooms, coffee shops etc. (but I will tell you later about that in another blog). But the vibe in the park was chill. It was pretty crowded in the park and the vibe peaceful and fresh. A lot of young parents with children, students etc. (characteristic of this neighborhood).
